The amount of your initial investment will vary greatly depending upon your decision to lease or own your Doodle Bugs! center. The size of your facility and the land cost, among other variables, will also affect your investment.

Generally, the estimated required initial investment ranges from $428,875 to $1,035,500 for a leased Doodle Bugs! facility and from $1,928,875 to $4,978,000 for a franchisee-owned Doodle Bugs! facility. The initial investment includes our Initial Fees, landlord lease deposits or your real estate development costs, equipment purchases, and initial working capital.

We suggest that your personal liquid assets total a minimum of $400,000+, depending upon the size of your estimated initial investment. Doodle Bugs! does not provide financing for your franchise; however, we will assist you in working with experienced third-party lenders and the Small Business Administration (SBA). Franchisees of the Doodle Bugs! system are eligible for expedited and streamlined SBA loan processing through the SBA’s Franchise Registry Program, www.franchiseregistry.com. While our experience shows that child care can be a profitable business, the income from your Doodle Bugs! franchise will depend on you as the business owner.
